Louise is the founder/lead practitioner of Happy Hooves. Louise has always been an animal lover, which inspired her to set up Happy Hooves. She has an extensive background working with Children, Young people and those with Special Needs.
Laura has been a director of happy hooves since we first started in 2015. Laura regularly helps with our visits and weekend events. She loves all the animals but has a particular soft spot for horses.
Heather has been a director at Happy Hooves since 2024, but has volunteered even longer. Heather is a retired nurse with a wealth of experience working with children and adults. Heather works with many of our groups, particularly our barnyard brews and does lots of our visits.
Our Staff
We also have a lovely team of volunteers who work every day of the week. Some focus on caring for our animals and some prefer to lead groups or 1:1 sessions.
All our staff are trained, professional and DBS checked. As a company, we strive to promote CPD for all our volunteers; consistently providing opportunities to develop skills in animal care, mental health, disability awareness and much more.
